Artist Statement:
My 2D artwork is influenced by my perception of light and color in the environment.

I am interested in the difference between what is perceived by the eyes and brain in a brief instant versus the image captured and recorded digitally.

My design work includes, among other things, the design and fabrication of interactive museum exhibits and the design and fabrication of assistive devices for differently-abled students at The Perkins School for the Blind. Some design work examples can be seen here: davidbhartdesign.com .
