Artist's Statement:
My monotypes and monoprints explore ideas of pattern, botanical design, and animal shapes through the layering of transparent watercolors and colored inks, and are often improvisational. My abstract work is loosely inspired by textiles, and my more representational work is inspired by botanical and jellyfish forms. I work with multiple methods of printmaking.
