100 Mudflat clay artists

Artist's Statement:
Mudflat Pottery School and Studio offers clay classes and workshops for adults, children and teens. Classes range from Beginning through Advanced levels of Wheelthrowing and Handbuilding as well as Sculpture and Tile classes. Introductory one day workshops for adults and for parents and kids together are a great way to try working in clay. Other workshops feature nationally recognized visiting clay artists and seminars in specialty skills. We have 3 semesters of classes each year, beginning in January, April and September, plus summer classes sessions in July and August.
Mudflat also provides individual and group studio spaces for 38 professional clay artists. Mudflat Gallery is our year round retail space in Porter Square, Cambridge featuring the work of 45 Mudflat artists, with a highlighted artist of the month.
Mudflat is a non-profit organization, and is funded in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Somerville Arts Council.
