Artist's Statement:
The figure that I am currently using, is a universal symbol of (wo)mankind. I am interested in finding connections between disparate cultures. From the first handprints, to alphabet and language, ideas about death and higher powers, games and rituals, and healing and the body, civilizations that had no communication with each other, came up with similar explorations and solutions to life's challenges.
